WINE
DECANTER- MINI SOIREE
The
Wine Advocate- 91-93, among the Top Wines of the
Vintage Another terrific effort from the Cathiards,
Smith Haut Lafitte s 2002 is not far off the
pace of their brilliant 2000. From yields of a mere 32
hectoliters per hectare ( 60% of the crop made it into
the final blend), this inky purple-color 2002 offers
wonderfully complex aromas of lead pencil shavings,
black currants, and a hint of chocolate. Thick, rich
and medium to full-bodied, with a great mid-palate,
texture and purity, and a long, concentrated finish
with moderately high but sweet tannin, this is a
brilliant success for the vintage. Anticipated
maturity: 2008-2023 Kosher O-U Non Mevushal Soirée (swoor-ray)
n. An evening party or social gathering. n. A new wine
decanter, that enhances the taste & experience of
any wine The Soirée is a wine accessory. The Soirée
fits into any standard corked wine bottle, allowing
you to pour, without dripping, directly through the
Soirée. Once you place the Soirée in the wine
bottle, the Soirée aerates your wine as you pour it.
The Soirée allows you to decant just the portion of
wine you want - a glass or a carafe. The Soirée can
also be used to pour the wine into a decanter, further
expediting the ‘opening’ of your wine. |

New
Zealand- Goose Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Produced
using grapes harvested in New Zealand's famous
Marlborough district. The long, cool growing season
and clay loam soils have contributed incredible citrus
fruit flavors, and a crisp texture to this wine. Serve
alongside fish, cheeses, and freshly baked breads.
